John H.V. Lindblom
is one of Scandinavia's leading yacht-designers who has many years experience
of yacht-design both in Sweden and internationally.
The focus of John's work is on the design and conceptualisation of yachts
and motor-boats ranging from 20 feet to 80+ feet used for recreational
purposes as well as for commercial use.
John is one of a handful certified marine surveyor in Sweden and is a
consulting engineer to many international shipbuilders.
John's designs, drawing on the proud heritage of being the fourth generation
of distinguished Lindblom yacht designers, include yachts and motorboats
for shipyards such as Storebro, Ryds Boats, Uttern Boats, Örnvik
in Sweden, and Horizon Yachts in Taiwan. John has designed many one-off
special commissions to both private individuals and governmental agencies.
In the past John also designed sailing-boats including a whole range for
the famous Vindö Shipyard.
